Sho Asuka (also known as Christopher "Chris" Peeper in the English dub) is the main character of Superbook. He is the friend of his robot toy (real robot in Season 2) Gizmo and Joy’s next-door neighbour.
Appearance[]
Chris is a boy with black spiky hair, black eyebrows, and dark brown eyes. He wears a blue jacket with a yellow undershirt, a black belt with a red buckle, blue pants with dark blue patches on the knees, light yellow socks, and black shoes. He is taller as of Season 2, as the series took place two years later.
Personality[]
As with many young boys in children's anime, Chris is depicted as a somewhat lazy boy who hates school and goes to sometimes ridiculous extremes to get out of doing housework or homework, which often puts him at odds with his father. However, through his adventures in the Superbook, his attitude slowly begins to improve.
